About us

Professional drone surveys, delivered with precision.

The operator

Arch City Aerial is a St. Louis-based drone survey and photogrammetry company operated by a licensed FAA Part 107 remote pilot. We specialize in turning flight data into actionable deliverables — 3D models, georeferenced maps, and CAD-ready artifacts — that engineers, architects, and project managers use from day one.

We fly with professional-grade equipment, process with industry-standard photogrammetry software, and deliver files formatted for the tools you already use. No conversion steps, no proprietary viewers.

Equipment & pipeline

DJI Matrice 4E — RTK enabled

The Matrice 4E is a professional mapping drone with a high-resolution survey camera and an integrated RTK module. Connected to the Missouri DOT (MoDOT) CORS network, it achieves 2–5 cm absolute positioning accuracy — the same CORS network used by professional land surveyors in Missouri.

RTK-corrected coordinates mean every mission is in the same absolute coordinate space. When you step through weekly scan dates in the viewer, the site doesn't appear to shift — only real change is visible.

Processing pipeline

  • Photogrammetry processing with DJI Terra / WebODM
  • 3D Tiles output (B3DM format) for browser-native streaming
  • GeoTIFF orthomosaic export at full sensor resolution
  • DXF/DWG export via photogrammetry mesh
  • Tiles hosted on AWS S3 with immutable cache headers

Featured project

Louiselle Park Neighborhood — St. Louis, Missouri

An ongoing weekly photogrammetric survey of an active construction and development site. Since March 2026 we've flown and processed six scan dates, producing RTK-aligned 3D models and an orthomosaic layer for each visit.

Stakeholders can step through every scan date in the browser, use built-in measurement tools (distance, height, area), and toggle the orthomosaic overlay — all without installing any software.
